Complaints, grievances or worrying patterns of feedback can be hard for any organisation to deal with. No charity leader wants bullying, harrassment, discrimination or other questionable behaviour happening on their watch. But it can be so hard to get a balanced, independent perspective however well-intentioned an internal investigation is.

I am a senior charity leader with experience of undertaking complaint, grievance, team culture and regulatory investigations at large UK charities with a proportionate, transparent and thorough approach. - focused on unpicking the root causes of issues and seeking a way to move forward – both regarding the individual situation and the broader organisational implications.

Complainants and those under investigation have both reflected on how open, supportive and fair my process is - even in situations where my findings don’t go their way.

Due to the nature of these types of investigations I work with organisations to agree an approach and timescale reflective of what is needed to do a thorough ‘no stone left unturned’ investigation.
